If you're a Doctor Who fan, there's a good chance you know that when Steven Moffat was developing the 50th anniversary special The Day of the Doctor, the showrunner approached Christopher Eccleston (who played the ninth Doctor) about returning for the episode. Ultimately the actor declined, and Moffat went on to craft John Hurt's War Doctor instead.
However, thanks to some newly unveiled storyboards from artist Andrew Wildman which first surfaced on Bleeding Cool (http://www.bleedingcool.com/2016/02/02/how-doctor-whos-50th-anniversary-looked-when-christopher-eccleston-was-still-in-it-and-billie-piper-wasnt/), we now have some idea of how Eccleston's Doctor would have factored in to the plot.
