What was the worst thread you have seen on this board or any of the Sitcoms message boards that is now closed?
That made you gasp or shriek or laugh. Or maybe you thought the poster was in need of some therapy.

"Mossopp" I posted something rude about her on there, I think it's closed... yeah well I was REALLY mean, sorry Mossopp. :(

(Says to myself): Thank goodness that topic where I said Aliens are visiting us and everybody thought I was crazy isn't closed....

LOL, Though I still believe Aliens do exist!

The fight between me and Sarah Lynn in the post about a FOL contest from like last May.

My least favorite was "Who is this dawsongirl person anyway?" It was a lovely attack on me at the I Love Lucy board. It was followed up by two more.

This post in the Everybody Loves Raymond section where some person is whining about how Peter Boyle's character, Frank, is mean and tends to swear. Ummm... TV show? If you don't like it, don't watch!

This fight at the FOL boards started by Dana, Britt and Morganne... it was a fight over the life of Lisa Whelchel, then followed by numerous posts containing the words "****" [sorry TJ] and they weren't blocked either. All 3 of the girls got banned lol.

I think the most recent one was strange, The one that TJ just closed. The FOOT Person who liked Feet. It was starting to get out of hand. LOL......... :lol:

Probaly the fight on the FOL board about Lisa and her family and her religion. It was really bad!

Almost everytime that there has been a "best" or a "worst" question, I've had to qualify my answer with some comment about the impossibility of nailing down THE "best/worst" of whatever the question was about. I'd either have several answers that are too close to call or I'd expect that my answer could change before the day ended. In this case though, even without scanning 900 pages of sitcomsomline posts, I can answer this "worst post" question unequivocally. But, I'm not going to say what the closed post was about because I was sorry to see it brought up then and so don't want to relive it now. It was misleading, incorrect, in very bad taste, and about someone in particular who I hated to see being slandered.

It's not really blocked, but it's been deleted: someone put a porn pic on the tc board just around a week ago.

Ewww yeah I remember that. Well I think the worst post ever was the one called "Nancy McKeon Can't act" mostly because it was a really silly fight that lasted for like ten (more actually) pages.

I'd have to say either "Mossopp", "Who is this dawsongirl person anyway?" or the one where everyone complained about Sitcomwriter. I picked those because they were pointlessly stupid attacks on members of the boards.

At least the argument posts (Lisa Whelchel's family, Nancy Cult, etc.) are sometimes amusing and not attacking single members of the boards.

Hope y'all will pardon me for saying this because I know that I've done this before. But... although the original qestion in a post doesn't always require that we stay on topic, this time the post person specifically asked that we refer to threads that have been locked, not just threads that we found to be lousy for some reason or another.

Oh yes. Those Nancy ones have me on the floor laughing. Honestly, it's pathetic seeing them trying to defend their beloved Nancy.

And "Lisa's Family", aka "the **** post"...:rotflmao: I couldn't say her name for weeks...because everytime I did I would die laughing... honestly I still go back and look at that for memories.

That "silly fight" had been occuring and reoccuring in thread after thread at that time. Seemed like there for awhile the Nancy fans would change the topic and turn it into another 'Nancy is the greatest and you're not' discussion. That long thread seemed to put an end to that. Anyway, I don't see what difference it makes if a thread becomes several pages. If we're discussing something why not try to get it worked out? I don't mean like some of those arguments that become redundant and go in circles, but if we continue a discussion because it's leading somewhere, than that's okay if it takes a few pages.

what page on the FOL boards is the "Lisa's Family" thing? I wanna read it. Seem's like a good topic since you keep onmentioning it Karli! And If ya don't know what page, then when was it? It was back in August started by "Sour Babie"... but it was horrible towards Lisa, but wonderful towards my entertainment!

I remember a while ago, on the TD or FOL board, these people were talking about the penguins, queens, feathers, or whatever, and they started cursing in every post. :eek:

Ick...that was hard to look at. I didn't even bother to read the whole thing...

well, one person came on TD or FOL board and said I was a drunk and alcholic...but i got deleted before I read any of the replys, TJ emailed me and told me he delted it. Not very memorable, but I though it was harsh......

also, the one either on TD or FOL, i dont remember which, where some 3 girls, i don't remember who, were claiming to commit suicide...get me mad thinking about it.

Don't you hate it when people do immature things like that? Someone did a similar thing to me at another message board site I used to go to. This person started calling me a druggie and a moron and stuff like that just because I simply disagreed with her. Some people need to grow up!
