When I used to watch Frasier on Hallmark Channel I noticed that they show an edited version and I would like to know if these Frasier episodes are different? Because when I have seen Frasier on Hallmark Channel I noticed that the profanity is censored and replaced with clean words and I would like to know if this is a clean version of Frasier i'm watching on Hallmark Channel? I had never noticed this because this is new to me,

They do edit words out of the show and it ticks me off to be honest b/c in one episode they edited something really funny that Martin said to Niles. I think that he called him a jackass or something and they edited out "ass" and yet in another episode they left in Mel calling Daphne a slut. Makes no sense at all. And when they edited what Martin said, my husband caught it and wanted to know what they had cut out. The line they cut out is what made it funny. I love that it's on Hallmark but seriously I think calling someone a slut is a lot worse than calling them a jackass when it comes to editing things out on TV. They should just leave it all in there or take them all out. Just my two cents.

Great info on the Frasier episodes. It makes me lucky that I can watch the regular versions of the Frasier episodes on DVD because noticing that the Hallmark Channel episodes of Frasier are edited was a surprise to me,
Thank You,

Yes, they do seem to edit out words they think are inappropriate. I've noticed that on cable and satellite channels with reruns of other shows too. I mean I'm not one for lots of profanity but I think it's really ridiculous when they'll simply blank the word out so you don't hear it at all. As if you can't usually figure out what the word is anyways LOL.
