"So You Think You Can Dance" Renewed, with Next Generation/All-Stars Twist

"So You Think You Can Dance" fans, your national nightmare is finally over.

Fox on Monday announced the renewal of the dance competition show for a 13th season in which the contestants — between the ages of 8 and 13! — will be paired with all-star dancers.



The new season of SYTYCD premieres Monday, May 30. Auditions begin Feb. 27 in Los Angeles.

Host Cat Deeley is slated to return, along with judges Nigel Lythgoe, Paula Abdul and Jason Derulo.

There should be 4 judges in this next season and Mary Murphy should be returning as one of the four.

This new show's format and the entire FOX network may both have been badly affected by the US west coast port financial collapse incident recently, IMO.
