I hate the word "dated"...of course it's dated...40 years is a long time and so many things have changed. The material is still timely but yeah there's a lot of stuff that you don't see anymore. I sometimes wonder what the show would look like if it came out this year instead of 1976.

Technically you're right, but that's kind of a conversation killer. TVFactFan likes to come up with imaginary situations to talk about. Saying stuff like the above might as well defeat the purpose of this message board. So I understand TVFactFan's anger.

In the Telly Savalas episode, it wasn't the long deceased guest star that dated the episode, but him firing up a cigarette in the diner.

Don't worry about it. I was insulted and then asked to leave this board. I did not know that he was trying to be silly and I took and answered his question seriously. I answered it in a respectful way. I was then told that the question was "silly episode chat"

Because some people have no friends and take it out on us. I also don't come here to fight. I'm really a nice person if you get to know me, and all I want to do here is chat with people about TV shows. I don't want to be mean or crude or make fun of people.

For years I thought Vic Tayback played the shady Park owner in KISS meets the Phantom of the Park. Turns out that was a different actor but it's been a while since I saw the show or that movie.
