Just want to say Happy Anniversary to TJ and how I thought this site would fold because of Facebook and Twitter. But since 2011 there has been a burst of activity and new members which has given this site new life. This site has returned to the activity it had in 2005/2006 which has shocked the hell out of me.

I was so shocked to check my email and see more emails from sitcomsonline than all of the other sites below

I'm here because of Antenna. When they dump Barbara C, I ghost out of here faster than Usain Bolt at the Olympics.

I think all the recent TV on DVD releases from Shout! Factory and other companies have played a huge part in the revival of the site. Most of the new threads are about the DVD releases.

These releases revived the boards majorly.

Now, if we could get the rest of "Green Acres", "Alice", "Perfect Strangers", Petticoat Junction", "The Beverly Hillbillies", "Diff'rent Strokes", "Family Matters", "Newhart", and complete series sets for "Empty Nest" and "Step by Step"; I know these releases would help the boards even more!

Here's hoping 2016 is a great year for TV on DVD!

Like I said, I came on in 2011 and I thought the site was fine and not in a down period. Guess it was because I was new and there was plenty to talk about. Its funny, I think I remember going on this site back in 2007,2008, well one of those years but I never signed up. Maybe it was one of those "I'll sign up tomorrow" but never did.

I think this site is popular because it gives people a chance to discuss favorite TV shows, old and new. And not just sitcoms, other types of shows too. Plus there are other forums here where you can chat about most anything else, sports, politics, etc. So there is something here for everyone.

I joined in 2006 but didn't really start posting until around the end of 2010. It's been great. It gives lots of info on upcoming DVD releases and TV schedules and I like discussing them with others.

I still remember running home from work in the summer of 2002 to post on SitcomsOnline LOL
