LeeBlue 01-07-2017, 11:58 AM I liked the first two episodes -- so I'll watch again on Monday.
The new cast members are fun to watch.
And the producers/writers have come up with new projects.
Hawkee 01-24-2017, 03:18 AM I saw an episode of The New Celebrity Apprentice for the very first time and I do hope NBC decides to cancel it because based on from what I watched it I disliked it because the tasks seemed to be straight from the previous seasons of The Apprentice and I thought it was odd. Second why do they have celebrities like Boy George and comedian Jon Lovitz compete in it and I think The Celebrity Apprentice should've gotten celebrities that are well known and that should've made the show more exciting to watch. Why they got Arnold to host it i'll never figure out and they should've gotten someone like J.K. Simmons to host The New Celebrity Apprentice. So NBC could've done much better with this show in my opinion

tlc38tlc38 01-24-2017, 12:21 PM No offense but Boy George and Jon Lovitz are two of the biggest names in their line of work. I'm actually enjoying this season. I think Arnold is doing a great job.

JK Simmons is too busy making movies to host a reality show. Arnold is doing fine, the show is already better without Trump.

Chale was their only true villain.
Lisa is very annoying.
I liked Porsha even though she was a double talker.
My favorite season and I have seen them all was the one with LaToya battling Omarosa. I was Team LaToya. I also loved it when Meatloaf stood up to Star Jones who was is such a _ _ _ _.:) Dionne Warwick was so cranky and mean to so many including Marlee Matlin. This woman is a music legend who obviously was not happy to be on this show. And it showed. It was funny and sad at the same time.
I also enjoyed All Stars with Gary Busey driving everybody crazy with his ramblings.

And when Meatloaf went off on Busey. Classic breakdown moment. I admit, I love these cheesy celeb reality shows, I miss The Surreal Life. There I said it.

You are in a safe space here with me.
I LOVE a good "celebrity" meltdown.
That is the problem with this season. Everybody is far too civilized. Where is the shade and the cattiness?
Gary brought such wonderful instability to the proceedings. Where is the crazy when you need it??? Everybody but Chale is way too well behaved.
Maybe they are friendlier in Los Angeles? :D

Yeah, the closest this season has had so far to a meltdown is that guy freaking out about Harry Potter.

Yeah, we need more of HIM!
I think he won 2 tasks already. I think he might be the eventual winner although I have my "queer" eye out for Carson Kressley also. He seems like a front runner.

I agree with you, Bestie! This is a horrible show without the Trumpster!! Ahnold is the worst host in history! I can barely understand him. He should be "Terminated" and never "Come Bahk"! I watched one episode and thought I was watching a rerun of Kindergarten Cop. Hope this show gets canceled so something better can fill in the time slot!

JamesG 03-04-2017, 02:48 AM Schwarzenegger Fires "The Apprentice"
by James Dyer
March 3, 2017
Fans of "Celebrity Apprentice" are about to lose the show's biggest asset as Arnold Schwarzenegger will not be returning to host another season of the show.
"I learned a lot, I had a great time, it was a really great opportunity," Schwarzenegger said, speaking exclusively to Empire. "But under the circumstances I don't want to do it again."
Talking to Schwarzenegger about his role in upcoming drama Aftermath, Empire mentioned the ailing reality show and a recent report by The Wrap that both viewers and sponsors have been departing in droves. Schwarzenegger confirmed the story and claimed that Donald Trump is to blame.
"It's not about the show," he explained. "because everyone I ran into came up to me and said 'I love the show... but I turned it off because as soon as I read Trump's name I'm outta there!'"
"NBC did everything they could to promote the show and [producer] Mark Burnett did a fantastic job. No one really knew that this was going to happen and I think that everyone was caught off guard."
"When people found out that Trump was still involved as executive producer and was still receiving money from the show, then half the people started boycotting it."
Social media campaign #grabyourwallet appears to have been a factor, imploring consumers and sponsors alike to ditch "Celebrity Apprentice" in direct response to the US President's continued involvement. The boycott's success may well be reflected in the show's viewing figures and the hasty retreat of commercial backers.
"Even if asked to do it again I would decline," said Schwarzenegger. "With Trump being involved in the show people have a bad taste and don't want to participate as a spectator or as a sponsor or in any other way support the show. It's a very divisive period now and I think this show got caught up in all that division."

Duster76 03-04-2017, 02:17 PM What a joke! It's Trump's fault, it couldn't possibly have anything to do Arnold's hosting abilities. Man up Arnold.
What they need to do is get a businessman to host the show (maybe Kevin O'Leary). What I'd really like to see is a return to the original format, no washed up celebrities just men and women competing for a job.
Babalu 03-05-2017, 11:25 AM I'll not be beck.
LeeBlue 03-07-2017, 11:24 AM Duster76, I like your idea -- a businessman (maybe someone from Shark Tank) would be a good match with Celebrity Apprentice.
If it's celebrities or regular folks, it is fun to watch people doing tasks outside their comfort level.
So I hope the show is renewed.
JamesG 04-06-2017, 02:13 PM Arnold Schwarzenegger Says President Trump Bashed his "Celebrity Apprentice" because He Didn't Vote for Him
by Lisa de Moraes
April 6, 2017
President Donald Trump, a decades-long friend of Arnold Schwarzenegger, savaged him as host of "Celebrity Apprentice" because he was ticked Arnold wouldn’t vote for him. This according to Schwarzenegger, talking to CNN’s "The Messy Truth" host Van Jones.
“And I told others not to vote for him,” Schwarzenegger added.
In January, then POTUS-elect Trump, took time out from forming his cabinet, dismantling Obamacare, and pounding out a plan to finance the wall he insists Mexico would bankroll, to savage Schwarzenegger’s performance as the reality series’ executioner-in-chief:
“Wow the ratings are in and Arnold Schwarzenegger got ‘swamped’ (or destroyed) by comparison to the ratings machine, DJT, ” Trump tweeted.
Then, in February, President Donald Trump opened off his National Prayer Breakfast telling religious leaders and diplomats, “We had tremendous success on The Apprentice and, when I ran for president, I had to leave the show. And they hired a big, big movie star, Arnold Schwarzenegger to take my place. And we know how that turned out – the ratings went right down the tubes. It’s been a total disaster,” said Trump, who remains a producer on the NBC series. “And I want to just pray for Arnold, if we can. For those ratings. Okay?”
The final jab came when Schwarzenegger announced in March that he was exiting the show because its reputation had been tarnished by Trump. Trump responded Schwarzenegger couldn’t quit because he’d been fired.
“I think it’s funny,” Schwarzenegger told Jones Wednesday night of Trump’s National Prayer Breakfast put-down. “I have thick skin, this doesn’t bother me at all.”
He added, “it gave me the opportunity to shoot back and say the show didn’t go well because one third of the audience left – boycotted the show, because you’re the executive producer, Donald Trump. If you would not have opened your mouth and tell everybody you’re executive producer we would have have really great ratings on the show.”
Turning back to Jones, Schwarzenegger said, “The advertisers left, the audience left. They hate the guy! I was caught in the middle of this political thing. That’s why I said I’m not going to do the show again.”
