Comcast turned off my ****ing cable:o


I set up a payment arrangement for 1/22 because that's when I got paid so I had no idea they would try and get the money at 12am. My money wasn't available until 9am so it was insufficient funds and I come home tonight to a black screen. Why didn't the ****ing lady tell me they take the payment at 12am? I would have the 23rd. Now what has happened is I got to pay the whole ****ing balance to turn my service back on by 2/2/16 is $341.00 and another 183 is due on 2/21

So all together that's five ****ing hundred and twenty dollars that I don't have. I'm on the verge of snapping lol

OMG ! When I first saw your thread, I thought you meant your apartment was broken into, burglarized! Thank God that didn't happen. But that s*cks about your cable. Maybe you can talk them into restoring the service without having to pay that money cause it was over a misunderstanding about what time of day the payment would be received. Hope you can work it out!

My internet is on our landline phone bill and cable is a completely different bill! ;) So if my cable was off, I would still be able to post on here! ;)

Try to call and talk to a manager and explain that your $$$ wasnt available until 9am... Tell them you didnt realise they were gonna try and get it @ 12am!!! (Try to be calm Even though its hard)

Thanks for the near heart attack Solomon. I thought your home was broken into. Yeah, I hate Comcast. My bill is over $200 now. There's got to be a better way. I hope you can work things out.

Well I had to pay them the $341 to turn it back on because I had no idea when I set the payment arrangement for 1/22, they were going to take the money at 12:01:crazy:

I was only going to give them $166 since I need to save as much as possible to move. But now that I had to give them the remaining $175, that eliminated lunch money and haircut money.

I went on a 1st date on friday night just to get out the house and the girl was like......"you have a lot of hair, nice and curly"

Well that is one good thing that came out of this mess, the girl liking your hair! ;) I hate to hear that you have to do without lunch though!! :( Do they have a microwave at your job? You could pack some leftovers from dinner. I hate to see you go hungry at lunchtime because of that stupid cable company! That's not right! :(

surprisingly the combination of a nutri grain bar and youtube eats up the lunch hour with no problem lol Then at 2pm I am back to work and before I know it it;s 5pm.

The fact that people have quit from being overwhelmed has made everyone's work load heavier so I don't think about food much because I am so busy. So a nutri grain bar for breakfast and lunch seems to do me just fine

In regards to the move, I do know I have close to $800 coming in a few months since I don't have to pay rent for the month of May. And now sure what the new owner will do about the security deposit but if it turns out I do get the security back then I will be in a much better situation

Right now my goal is to save about $2000 between now and 3/19

I will say that I will be more than halfway there by mid february

Bonnie I'm just excited that tomorrow is a new month and January is over and done with. The worst january of my life and worst than the previous january's when I was unemployed lol

No way February can be as bad january since I already know the building is sold and halfway toward my saving goal. Plus I met a girl friday night who only lives 10 mins away

I planned on paying half of 130 bill on the Fri. before Thanksgiving and the other half two wks. later. But no, because they said that my bill was past due, 65 bucks wasn't enough so I had to pay them thfull 130 bucks the Friday before Thanksgiving. Now I had planned to use that other 65 bucks for the holiday. That really pissed me off!!:o

I forgot about the building being sold. Where are you moving to and how does it compare to your apartment now? How's the rent? How will you move your furniture and stuff?

I haven't found the place yet. I will have to call a moving company to move the new bed I bought back in March
