All the other channels work! But on METV it says ONE MOMENT PLEASE THIS CHANNEL SHOULD BE AVAILABLE SHORTLY!!!!! And it's NOT ,it was off all morning yesterday and again today! It came back on much later yesterday. I was able to watch CHIPS and Mama's family! Same thing again today! I missed Petticoat Junction two days in a row, and today was the one where Steve sings 'The everyday housewife" to Betty Jo and I had to miss it!! :mad:


I guess I better call Time Warner Cable! :confused:

It's still not on, and now IDTV and a couple other channels are off too, but it's weird, only on one of the TV's ! MeTV isn't on either of our TV's!

Have you tried rebooting your cable box?

Unplug your cable box for at least a minute (or is it 10 minutes---can't remember) This is about all Time Warner will tell you to do!!

It will take awhile to reboot.
I have started to unplug it at night just before I go to bed, then plug it back in after it has been off overnight, seems to help, not sure why (?????)

I hate to complain, and I know there are far bigger problems in the world than missing a TV show! But I really like to watch Petticoat Junction first thing in the morning! And this morning was a good ep. I missed with Steve singing ! :(

It was on this morning. I saw Petticoat Junction! It was Kathy Jo's Christening and Steve sang "Our Father" in Church!! Different version than the Catholic Our Father, but it was nice. He has a really good voice!

Have you ever switched channels only to have the channel come in and then go blank with the message on screen "Please wait" and after a minute or so it comes on, or just be watching and have that message pop-up in the middle of a show or the screen "freezes"?

If so, just unplug your box so it can "reboot" (not necessarily while you are watching a show),,,,,this seems to be a problem with Time Warner Cable boxes, it won't do any good to get a new box either.

This is why I've been unplugging ours at night, so far it seems to help.:lol:

I have TWC, and I can commiserate with tons of problems , but I have to admit that one I never heard of.

Yesterday I was in the bedroom putting away clothes from laundry I just did ! I had ID TV on and I'm hanging up some thing in the closet ,not looking at the TV , and all of a sudden the music from the start of Emergency started playing! It had switched on it's own to METV!!!!!! :eek:

The problem was caused by a solar outage
