I attended the Vicki Lawrence show a few months ago. Have you any of you seen her live? If you check Youtube clips her jokes have not changed in years. They were literally word for word. The only new joke was one about Donald Trump. We felt let down.

I saw her show twice in 2003. She came back to the same theater last September. I considered getting tickets but figured the show wouldn't have changed much. It looks like I was correct. The show still sold out, so good for Vicki, but if I'm going to see a comedy show multiple times it definitely has to be fresh and new over time.

And it's "Vicki & Mama: A Two-Woman Show", not One. ;)
