If you're not shoveling today, I hate you. Said with love, of course. Also, NYC cancelled Winter Jam 2016 due to winter. (True)

I'm buried under snow. Not leaving the house all weekend. This is my hometown's center square in Waynesboro PA.

I'm in NYC too; it's blizzards-ville today. Right now Gov. Christie is on the TV giving NJ updates. Alternating with Gov. Cuomo and Mayor De Blasio, NYS and NYC resp.

Thanks Bonnie. :) I love the snow but this is a bit much. The snow from the sidewalk is up over the porch. I don't know when I'll be able to get out. My Dad is a senior too and I worry about him. If anything happens while this snow is like this I don't know what I'll do. It's still snowing. It's supposed to stop between 8 and midnight and then the winds are supposed to pick up.

We had both ice & snow here in northern Tennessee. I didn't go to work Friday or today because there were snow drifts on our road that didn't get plowed until just a few minutes ago. So I know how you guys feel about being snowbound. We got about 7 inches of snow over a layer of ice. People from the south don't deal well with snow.

I haven't seen Krampus yet, but it's from the writer/director of the excellent Halloween themed horror film Trick R Treat (2007)

Speaking of recent Christmas themed horror films: A Christmas Horror Story is an excellent anthology. It also features Krampus, plus William Shatner!

And another recent Christmas horror fave: Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale (2010)

Yeah Krampus was good! My friend and I saw it, and it was well worth the movie theatre price. We weren't disappointed! ! It was a horror movie but mixed with a lot of dark humor too! And really cool special affects! Very entertaining!
