If Peyton is smart, he will retire now. He can go out on a high note... in a blaze of glory. I am happy for Peyton. It was tough for me because I also like Carolina a lot, but I do adore Peyton and he does deserve many congratulations. There is no one like him. Peyton is a total class act and a very nice guy.

I have a friend that lives in Council Bluffs, Iowa and Omaha is right across the river where he works. I asked him if he yelled OMAHA every time he goes to work and he crosses the bridge? He said no.. bummer.

I agree!!! He really is a cool guy!!! He's such an "every day Joe" type!! ;) He never let his fame and fortune change him!!! The whole Manning family is like that!! They stayed very true to themselves! :) ;)

He has so many options if he retires ! So it's not a question of him being bored if he retires or anything!!! He could be a football commentary ( I could see him sitting there discussing the upcoming games on Sunday or Monday evening) or eventually he could become a coach!!! He'd be great at that! He's aggressive yet on the other hand he's nice, I think the players would be comfortable with him as their coach! ;) Or heck he could do more commercials or even some TV as a guest star or do movies!! He's not a good looking "leading man" type but I could SO see Peyton doing comedy or like playing a teenage kids Dad or something !!! ;) :)

Sure.... Peyton could comment football just like Terry Bradshaw, Deion Sanders, Troy Aikmen or Jerome Bettis. I think Peyton would be a fine addition to the commentators. I also agree that he could make a fine coach if that's what he wants. And we already know that Peyton is great in commercials. The man is a gem!
You're right, Bonnie.... Peyton is no movie star handsome man, but he's got tons of charisma, and he'd do well in acting if that's what he wants. The possibilities are endless for him. I'm just glad he won the superbowl and that he probably went out on a high note like he deserves!
