Hi everyone. This is Chelsea, Noreen's administrator. It is with a heavy heart that I tell you Noreen Corcoran passed away this afternoon peacefully with her family by her side. The Corcoran family has asked for privacy during this time of grief. I am still in shock and have shaky hands as I type this. After lengthy, wonderful phone conversations, Noreen and I formed a friendship in 2013 after she, myself and Bernadette Withers met for lunch for the first time to discuss the documentary.
Noreen was one of possibly even the most humble, genuine and kindest people I have ever met. It was an honor to get to know her on a personal level over these past few years. I will never forget her distinct, contagious laugh and her wonderful sense of humor. She touched so many lives in her personal life as well as her role as Kelly on Bachelor Father. When I interview Noreen for the documentary, I asked her how she would like to be remembered. With a smile she said "Oh my god, where's my violin? I don't know, she tried, she did her best, she was happy." I then asked her if she had any thing else to say and she responded "nope." I then said I think we've got it covered, laughing she said "I hope so!"
