is it true that most of these don't exist anymore because the tapes of a lot of them were erased? If so, that's a shame.
Also, if it's true how come Buzzr shows a lot of ones from the 70s?

CBS quit erasing tapes in 1972, ABC in 1978, and NBC 1980. Chances are any game shows that aired on those networks before the above mentioned dates are gone.

you may be able to find 1960s game shows like Password on youtube. I bought a dvd from an individual a couple of years ago that has several episodes of Password from 1966 and '67 guest starring Elizabeth Montgomery.

Often Game Shows used to have nightly primetime editions in the 1960s, and often these tapes were kept. But daytime 5-day-a-week videotaped versions of game shows in the 60s were mostly wiped.
