"Penny Dreadful" Gets Season 3 Premiere Date at Showtime

Showtime hopes you’ll have a dreadful spring.
"Penny Dreadful‘s" nine-episode third season will premiere on Sunday, May 1 (10/9c), the network announced Tuesday at the Television Critics Association winter press tour in Pasadena.
As previously reported, the horror drama’s Season 3 cast will include newcomers Shazad Latif (The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel), Christian Camargo (Dexter), Sam Barnett (Jupiter Ascending), Wes Studi (Hell on Wheels) and Jessica Barden (Far From the Madding Crowd).
