This may be a bit down in the weeds, but tomorrow the Lifetime Network will be airing a new movie version of "My Sweet Audrina". This is, of course, the infamous book that was laying next to Tara Calico (or whoever that was in the picture).

I feel that I should issue some sort of disclaimer as it is apparently a pretty disturbing piece for those who have never heard of it.

Speaking of which, I just realized something: could the perp have placed the book there as a clue to what was happening to the kids?

This book is amazing, but the movie is a total flop :( But glad to have seen it, none the less.

I guess this is V.C. Andrews day on Lifetime. They're showing Flowers In the Attic and Petals On The Wind as well.

I saw that, too! Normally Lifetime in Canada never airs the same stuff, but today and yesterday it did. I watched the Flowers in the Attic last year and hated it, and even though it's more like the book than the original movie, I LOVE the original movie from the 80's. I think it's one of those things, like UM, when you get hooked on the original or at least like the original, the remake has no chance of impressing you.

I caught the last part of the new version of Flowers In The Attic and thought it was bland. The acting just didn't seem to be all that. I have heard about but never seen the original and figured it must be better.
