I like to do this quite a lot. I tend to Mismatch colors that are from the same color group. Like Blue And Red Or Black And White. And various other colors.

I don't see how blue/red or black/white are bad combinations at all. Now green/pink or yellow/purple might be another matter.

I like things that match. As someone else stated if wearing jeans almost anything goes! And I wear jeans a lot! But say, if I am wearing a green or black T- shirt I will wear black jeans. :D

My daughter bought 2 identicle pairs of shoes and socks in white and black. She would wear a black shoe with a white sock on the right foot and a white shoe with a black sock on the left foot with a black and white striped blouse and all black pants. She loved to do that

I prefer things that match but if I'm in a hurry to do a local errand ( like rush to a store that's about to close) or take out the garbage - I could care less about looking "even" or fashionable.

I dont care frankly so Ill wear anything together :)

Clash colors are usually any a cool and warm color that are NOT complementary, i.e. Red and Blue; Orange and Purple, etc... OR similar colors that look alike on their own but clearly different when side by side. i.e. Cream and White, Black and Navy Blue, etc...
