Eddie Griffin: ‘Cosby Rape Accusations Are Part Of Conspiracy To Bring Down Successful Black Men’

1:29 PM 01/01/2016

Eddie Griffin said the Bill Cosby rape accusations are part of a conspiracy theory to bring down successful black men.

Cosby was charged with aggravated indecent assault in Pennsylvania on Wednesday after a woman said he drugged and abused her in his home 12 years ago, but Griffin believes the multiple claims made against Cosby are part of something bigger than that.

“There is a systematic effort to destroy every black male entertainer’s image,” Griffin said during an interview this week. “They want us all to have an asterisk by our name.” (PHOTOS: This Is Bill Cosby’s Mug Shot)
Eddie Griffin says Bill Cosby rape claims are conspiracy theory

Cosby has previously admitted he gave women drugs with the intent of having sex with them, and Griffin dismissed that during in his interview.

“First off you have to remember this was in the ’70s,” Griffin said. “I’m old enough to remember the ’70s. The ’70s is a different time. Did he rape these bitches? Why would you go to the room of a known married man?”

“[Cosby] has single-handedly sent a bunch of brothers and sisters to college. Even if he didn’t pay for it himself, he gave them the idea that it was possible. And then some ***** is supposed to tear that down.”

What an absolutely despicable, misogynistic excuse for a human being this "Griffin" person must be. The likelihood of Cosby being a rapist has now become overwhelming, to anyone who takes even a casual look at the information we've been provided. :livid: Men who insist on referring to women they don't even know as "bitches" should be called on their ignorant behavior, so I hope people on Twitter gave him a piece of their minds.

Excusing black people for their crimes by crying "racism" is so counter-productive to what we all really want.... better race relations in America. I have no idea who "Eddie Griffin" is, but he's certainly not worthy of my respect, or any more of my time. But I wish I could remind him of people like Steve Harvey, Lester Holt, Nat King Cole, Denzel Washington, Johnny Mathis, Tyler Perry, Sidney Poitier, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Forrest Whitaker, and thousands more, who have not had harmful accusations lobbed at them in some attempt to "bring them down because they're black". What garbage. I'd think this guy would be embarrassed at trying to put that nonsense out there.
