Bill Cosby's star will remain on the Hollywood Walk of Fame no matter the outcome of his criminal case.

The 78-year-old on Wednesday was charged with aggravated indecent assault, a first-degree felony, by the Montgomery County, Pa., District Attorney's Office.

While Cosby has been stripped of numerous honors in light of the allegations, his star along the walk of fame will remain in place, according to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

"The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has received inquiries asking whether we are planning to remove the star of Bill Cosby. The answer is no," said Leron Gubler, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, in an email.

"The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a registered historic landmark. Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk."

I'm glad the Walk of Fame has their own rules.

I'm sure his star, along with countless others, has had that happen.

Perhaps Hollywood should create a "Walk of Infamy" to accommodate 'fallen stars'.

I like how you think Retro4Life! Personally I'd like to take a jackhammer to Cosby's star and break it into a billion pieces and dispose of them in the sewer where they belong. I'm glad he's been stripped of lots of his other honors, it's just what he deserves.
