(The Kramdens and Nortons are have arrived at Alice's parents house. Ralph looks like he sooo doesn't want to be there.)

Alice: "Ralph, I promised my mom that we were going to attend her New Year's Eve party."

Ralph: "Alice, I know that all of us did not want to go to Times Square but I would rather spend this night without friends, other than the Nortons, than to be with that BLABBERMOUTH."

Alice: "Ralph, I told you that I don't want you calling her that."

Ralph: "You are expert on crossword puzzles. Give me another word for blabbermouth."

Ed: "Come on folks. It's New Year's. Time to ring in 2016."

Trixie: "Yeah."

(They greet Alice's parents.)

Alice: "Happy New Year's Mom & Dad."

Alice's Dad: "Same to you Alice and everyone."

Alice's Mom: "Happy New Year. I hope that your little boy (Ralph) doesn't drink too much and make a fool of himself."

(Ralph slams his fist into his hand in anger.)

Ralph (whispering): "Ooooooh. Just one swing."

Ed: "Happy New Year everyone. When the clock strikes midnight, it will be great. This will be one New Year where Ralph won't make a fool of himself and get into a fight."

Ralph: "Watch out Norton. Watch out."

(They are watching the ball drop. They turn on Dick Clark's New Year's Rocking Eve with Ryan Seacrest. Alice's mom notices.)

Ralph: "I like watching this Dick Clark's New Year's Rocking Eve with Ryan Seacrest."

Alice's Mom: "I don't like him. I am changing the station."

(She does. She changes it to NBC much to Ralph's chagrin.)

(After Alice's Mom angers him more and more, it's time for the ball to drop.)

Man (on TV): "It's time."

All (yell): "10...9...8...7...6..."

Ed (yells): "THE CHAMPAGNE IS NOT KORBEL."

(Ralph laughs.)

All (yell): "...1..."
