Do anyone here lay in a tanning bed? I do. I got a pretty good tan right now.

Definately not. All of my friends do, but I don't approve. I don't think they're safe, and I don't find tans especially attractive.

I've never used a tanning bed and I never will. For one thing, I definately don't think they're safe.
I can't tan anyway - I just burn. And I don't think tans are attractive, I prefer pale people :lol:
You can always tell when someone's gotten their tan from a tanning bed. For some reason it just looks different from someone whose gotten a tan the good, old fasioned way - by baking your brain in the sun all day! :crazy:

I can see why people would use tan beds, though. If they just dont like the sun, you can't blame them. ;)

i'm afraid to use them! i'm very claustrophobic and that would be bad in a closed in space, which would get really hot and everything. Yeah, deifinitly not good!

I neva have and neva will. If tanning beds have NEthing in common with tanning booths or whateva they r a huge cause of melanoma( sp?) aka skin cancer. I ain't going to one of those things...

welllllllllllllll a lotta my buddies go to tanning salons. but i reeeally dotn wanna cause im one of the palest people eevvvvveeerrrr soooo i have a higher risk of skin cancer than the tanner people out there...and i dont wanna get it sooooo...no..no tanning beds 4 me!

the idea of laying in a burning coffin like box just doens't appeal to me

Yup I do. I'm starting to get a tan now! YAY. But the main reason I go is because I'm kinda fair complected, and when I go out in the summer sun, I always get burned really badly. So I'm trying to prevent that this year...........

I never have, and very likely never will. I do like the look of a light tan, but I just burn anyway, and I don't think it's worth the risk of cancer or being super wrinkly 20 years from now.
