Not every film can be Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind, or even Splash, but director Ron Howard sure could use another box office hit about now. Come October 14, 2016, his third adaptation from a Dan Brown novel (following The Da Vinci Code and Angels And Demons) hits theaters. Inferno will again star Tom Hanks as professor Robert Langdon, this time waking up in an Italian hospital with no memory and as the target of a manhunt. The film was originally set to be released this month, but was pushed to the fall of next year. Cross your fingers that the extra time will give Howard the time needed to fine-tune it to perfection. After all, although the prolific Howard has made some great films, he's also responsible for some real dogs, including the ones below.
