It was not Marcus Welby or Medical Center but within that genre. It was a TV show about a doctor and his different adventures in treating people. I am not sure it was "Police,Surgeon" but probably not, yet it was just-as-nuch a more obscure TV series with a doctor as the main character. I think it was the early 70s or very very late 6Os .
There was once an unusual episode in which a teen boy was molested by his teacher.
I recall the teen boy might have been played by Scott Jacoby.
In another episode a teen boy of about 17 or 18 years of age (in the plot) was caring for his sick brother who was about 8 to 10 years of age and when the doctor came he asked where the parents of the younger boy were and the older boy said he is responsible for his young brother and is old enough to take care of him. I think the older boy might have been played by Mitch Vogel.
Any experts on older TV shows that can name the TV show?
I think it was short lived.
