The January MeTV schedule only has a couple of changes.

The Patty Duke Show premieres at 6AM replacing My Three Sons.

Mama's Family will air at 6PM and 6:30PM.

CHiPs moves back an hour to 5PM replacing the second Emergency episode. The other Emergency episode remains at 4PM.

I would have bet that Mama was going to lead into Carol Burnett.

I've watched a few My Three Sons recently, would like to see those stay on but they're going into the years of California, marriages, and births, so it might be just as well to pull the plug now.


I love the whole run of My three sons .Whether they were in Bryant Park or California. It was just on a tad too early for me to watch. Same with Patty Duke. I like the show, but I'm really not up that early!

At least Sunday afternoon is good. Saturday has the same crappy lineup. They really need better shows on Saturdays and should put sitcoms on. I wish they would show Perry Mason or Matlock on Saturday evenings or even Touched by an Angel.

I'm not a big fan of METV on Saturday's either! Too many western shows! They play them in the afternoons on weekdays, you think they could give it a break on Saturdays! :confused:

I wish they could get the package of My Three Sons that includes all of the black & white seasons plus S11 and S12. I think a lot of people would welcome seeing those.

I rarely watch much of MeTV on Sat. or Sun., usually because I'm into the Weekend Binge on Decades...! The Doris Day Show this coming weekend on Decades. YES!

I like the new 'Sunday Funnies" as an alternate if we aren't into the football games that are shown!;) I wish Saturday would pick up the "Catch me if you can" crime drama shows that they used to play on Sundays, such as The Mod Squad and Streets of San Francisco instead of all the Westerns! ;)

Decades has been kind of disappointing lately. Too much of the same stuff and they haven't really had very many marathons that I like although I saw That Girl about a month ago and they're going to show it again the weekend after Christmas so I will be watching it then.

I think that in reality, you ARE a fan of TV westerns. You have a tremendous crush on that "dreamy" Festus Haggin on Gunsmoke, and are upset that we now have the Chester episodes instead...! Though you find his stiff leg oddly appealing!!!:lol: "Slap leather," as gunfighters used to say! YEE-HAW!! (Just kidding of course!)

MeTV ran The Streets of San Francisco with Michael Douglas episodes many times over, so I don't miss them -- but they need to get the later eps from after he left (or better yet show Douglas' wife Catherine Zeta-Jones 24/7 -- drool). They did pull Mod Squad prematurely, though.

I'm sick of them running the westerns into the ground. I don't know how so many people like them they are very boring to me. They're on enough during the week, so why do they need to play them on Saturday?

I agree. Westerns do nothing for me and we've had three hours a day of them forever it seems.

I hope the MeTV Network will go on the air in the Springfield/Greenfield, Massachusetts area on Comcast and Charter cable TV.

With me ,Westerns are not a problem at all. What bugs me about the Saturday night lineup is the Sc-fi shows. I'm not a big fan of them at all, so that's why metv sucks on Saturday evenings
