The upcoming sixth season of CBS' Mike and Molly will be its last, according to one of the co-stars.

I stopped watching it anyway after they changed the show.

They aren't really getting cancelled. They have good ratings and it's a popular show. They just aren't filming anymore episodes.

Me too. It's like Molly had a breakdown or something.

I don't think they should have changed her character to be more like her movie characters.

The show made her famous and they should have respected the character.

I'm very disappointed. This is one of the few shows on current TV I actually like. Besides this and the Big Bang Theory, there's really nothing else on today that I like. And they've still kept that stupid 2 Broke Girls and Mike and Molly is so much better.

Not really surprised. For one, Melissa McCarthy has basically become too big for the show, and I bet at some point she would've wanted out to film more movies. Dissapointing, but probably for the best.

I'm disappointed in the news. While I haven't seen Seasons 4 and 5 yet from what I've heard from my Mom and others it's changed a hell of a lot from what it was the first 3 years. Guess I'll find out. At the end of Season 3 though I questioned how much further they could take the show and what more they could do with it. While I love the show I can't imagine too many more major angles they could have gone at it from.

I'm sad though, aside from Big Bamg Theory this is one of only a few other recent multi-cams I've truly enjoyed. The other one being Last Man Standing and I'd imagine that's getting near the end of its run too. So multi-cam choices will become very limited very soon.

The ensemble cast is what makes this show shine though. Yes it's about Mike and Molly and their story but it's really the stories of that ensemble cast. I love Carlton, I love his Grandma-God she was a riot. I love Vince as well as Molly's mom and sister Victoria. If it wasn't for that great ensemble cast I don't think it would have made it through 6 seasons all together. An ensemble really makes or breaks a sitcom and this show got very lucky in having an outstanding one.

When the season got cut from 22 to 13 episodes before it even starts I figured the writing was on the wall :( it's probably for the best though and it should have a very healthy syndication life.
