This thread is meant to discuss the shows you've stopped watching, because you got sick of them, lost interest, or dropped after 2-3 episode because it was awful. Current shows only.

Marvels Agents of SHIELD watched only two episodes of this crapfest to know that it don't appeal to me the least bit.

Within the last few years I quit watching Criminal Minds because it got predictable. I also stopped watching the Daily Show because the new guy doesn't appeal to me (plus I don't like the idea of a non American discussing American politics).

I haven't watched any new episodes of The Big Bang Theory this season. They jumped the shark in my opinion.

Scandal & Once Upon a Time

I dropped both because they got boring.

I've had it with Undercover Boss since it last season featured the CEO of Bikini's who fired his bar manager partially for not wearing her bikini top on tv. He also was promising to finance the "boob" job for 1 of his other ladies. I'll be sure never to go to Bikini's, and I have at least 1 in my area.

I tried watching Grandfathered as well, but I dropped it after 3 episodes. It's boring, not funny, and I don't like any of the characters.

current shows that I've dropped at some point:

NBC
The Blacklist- dropped it after the 1st 4 episodes of 2015
Law & Order: SVU- dropped it at the end of 2005. I've still watched other L&Os but not this one.

FOX
Brooklyn Nine-Nine- watched the first 5 episodes of the series and dropped after that.

CW
The Flash- watched one episode and liked it, started watching a 2nd and wasn't into it

CBS
Criminal Minds- used to watch a long time ago but haven't in awhile
The Big Bang Theory- watched for a few seasons. I dropped it because I couldn't stand the addition of Amy and too much sexual humor.
48 Hours- saw around a month
Person of Interest- saw for the first few seasons, dropped because it was too depressing and couldn't stand Shaw.

ABC
Secrets and Lies- dropped during the 4th episode
The Muppets- dropped after 2 episodes
Modern Family- was never a regular but I've seen a handful of episodes and it doesn't deserve anywhere near the acclaim it gets.

ABCFamily
The Fosters- saw the first few seasons

I had very high hopes for Modern Family, The Goldbergs, and Brooklyn 99. As well as Fresh off of the Boat. Had to stop watching all of them after just a few episodes.

Also that show, How to Get Away with Murder? Not for me.

I watched the first few eps. of ABC's "The Whispers" and dropped it before it got canned.

I wanted to like it because I liked the cast (Lily Rabe, Barry Sloane, Milo Ventimiglia) but it was a stinker.

This season (after the season premiere) is a vast improvement over last season. It's not near the greatness of some of the earlier seasons, but I've really enjoyed a couple of the episodes this season. I'm glad they were able to bring back some of the humor.

I stopped regularly watching TV so long ago.
But "junky shows" seemed to have really come about in the 70s. I was born after the 50s . I don't think I have really read or heard that shows like Donna Reed , Father Knows Best, Leave It To Beaver (etc) were called " Bad shows with bad plots and bad acting"

Maybe those pre-70s shows just stopped being broadcast before Jumping The Shark.

American Horror Story - The "Hotel" arc is a mess. It wasn't scary and it's boring. It looks amazing but I lost interest after three episodes and "checked out" for good.

The Whispers - watched the first episode and the child actors were painful to watch.

The Big Bang Theory, stopped watching last year.

Mike and Molly, stopped watching when she went nuts and quit her job teaching

Criminal Minds, it got old

I have recently started watching Code Black, the only other new show I watch now is Blue Bloods, I really miss good sitcoms.

What do you consider to be good sitcoms?

The opposite of the trash they offer today.
