My TV trivia calendar today said it was BENSON, in 1985. But for some reason I'm skeptical. Can anyone confirm or deny?

It says it was a precursor to the internet,so that means it was a workable prototype of the internet, but not actually the internet. I will give them credit until it can be proved other wise that there not the first TV show to depict it.

Tricky, and slightly misleading, but I'll buy it. I knew '85 seemed a bit early for the internet as we know it.

I seem to remember Arnold on Different Strokes using a computer to chat on a BBS with a disabled girl.
