Was their an episode like this?? I found this pic on the internet to put up on the Medical conditions A-Z thread! I don't remember an ep on the Flintstones where Betty and Wilma had the Measles or some other condition where they would have spots on their faces! ? Anyone remember this?

Episode 25 "In the Dough" March 17, 1961
Wilma and Betty are finalists in a television bake-off, but on the eve of the event, they contract measles. Donning full drag—including wigs, dresses, and plucked-out eyebrows—Fred and Barney take their places in the contest to prepare their "Upside-Down Flint/Rubble Bubble Cake," but one of the guys' carelessness (specifically (and accidentally) using the wrong flour brand) could jeopardize the win of the grand prize.

Oh yeah!!!I remember when Fred and Barney were impersonating the wives!! ;) I had forgot the reason why though!!! :) Another ep where Fred and Barney were in drag was season 3,Ladies day at the baseball park!! And I kind of remember another one, maybe it was just Fred, not Barney dressed as a woman? Wilma was nominated for best housewife or something, and reporters were coming and for whatever reason Fred dressed up as a lady and pretended to be Wilma? Or that could be the bakeoff ep. I'm thinking of? But it seems the one I'm thinking of was a later season ep.?

I haven't seen the Flintstones in so long, except for Season 3 that I have.;)

one thing that I never understood about was that if willma and betty caught the measles from alanzo next door why did they even stay at his house at all when it was probably obuvius that he had the measles in the first place?

After the bake off Fred and Barney were exposed as fraudulent Wilma and Betty impersonators. They were doing the dishes after Betty and Wilma were cured they told them that if they did not do the house work they tell there bowling buddies. Fred and Barney go along but say lets go to Alonzos so we can get the measles therefore not being able to work due to sickness. How come Wilma and Betty were cured and Alonzo was still sick?

That darn Alonzo I wonder if Fred ever pursued the lawsuit.

The episodes you speak of are the take me out to the ball game just Fred is in drag. When Wilma wins the good cave keeping award it was just Fred and the bake off won by Mrs Rocky Granitesiano was both Fred and Barney in drag.

I have the Take me out to the ball game ep. on my Season 3 DVD! It's been a while since I've seen it, but at the end doesn't Barney walk out of the ball park dressed in drag? Wearing the same clothes Fred came in wearing ? I think, but I could be wrong!

I should go watch it! ;)
