The last couple of Girl Meets World (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2543796/board) episodes had swept the events of the "Texas" arc under the rug, but "Girl Meets the New Year" (http://forums.previously.tv/topic/35371-s02e25-girl-meets-the-new-year/?view=getnewpost) brought the love triangle back to the forefront -- or I guess love square, including Charlie Gardener. And similar to the "Texas" episodes, this storyline definitely had good character moments, but it ultimately didn't make any real headway.

I think there is more to come concerning this plot in the very near future. With Farkle coming out and saying that Riley still has feelings for Lucas and it pretty much being left at that, I believe much more is to come.
