Anyone watch the Christmas With the King Family special on Get TV Wednesday night? It was the first time in more than 40 years since I saw the show and to me they don't make TV shows like that any more. It showcased a large, wholesome and talented family that had their own show in the mid 60s and many holiday specials thereafter that were run on Channel 5 in New York and many other stations in the US.

It was also great to see Tina Cole, who would later go on to play Katie on My Three Sons and Cam Clarke, who later became a prolific voice over artist, primarily for video games. He also did a large number of cartoons.

Hopefully, Get TV will obtain the rights to the King Family specials and viewers can go back in time to see shows that everybody can enjoy.

I remember The King Family on TV . It seemed that there were so many of them that it seemed that they all could only be identified as the "King Family" who sang more like a chorus without any one individual being the lead.

The Christmas Special & other Specials they have done have been available on DVD for some time now
