Hi all!
I just wanted to invite you to the show. Its finally here and I could have not done it with your help. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I have never been more nervous or more excited about a show!

GREAT COMEDIANS OF COLOR
New York Comedy Club - Manhatten
241 East 24th St Between 3rd & 2nd Ave.
(212) 946-1244 for reservations or
Visit - www.livetheatregang.com
Every Sunday in April & May @ 5pm - Main room

Spend an Afternoon with Richard Pryor, FREDDIE PRINZE, Redd Foxx, Moms Mabley, Bert Williams and many other great comedic legends. You won't want to miss this hysterically historical play as yesterday's "Great Comedians" teach a new
generation of comics how it's really supposed to be done. Featuring different impersonations every week, you'll want to keep coming back for
more. Bob Slade of KISS FM calls Great Comedians Of Color A Classic in The Making!

Thankx
LaZ

Laz, I have been checking out the LTG website whenever I get the chance, reading all about everyone and all the past shows. You all sound like a very talented bunch, and I can't wait to come to this show! It is looking good (I couldn't resist LOL!) for my friend and me to be able to make it near the end of the show's run, and we are very excited!:happyface

I will keep the whole group in my prayers, but especially you. It means so much to all of us who love Freddie that you are going to be portraying him. You seem to want to be true to who he was and how he performed. I wish you all the luck in the world--or should I say, "Break a leg"? (I am not an actor, I just sing once in a while!:music: )

Laz,
I can hardly believe opening night is here! It seems like yesterday when you posted that you were doing this show and needed info and the tapes. I am so glad that I was able to help you in a small way. I know you will be fantastic, since I know Freddie will be with you all the way. I can’t wait to come to the show on 5/19 myself and see the wonderful job I know you will do. The others in the show sound like they are going to be fantastic too. Good luck on opening night...to all of you in the show. Pass my “break a legs” to the rest of the cast.

On their site it has where for visiting their site you can get your tickets to the show half price & 2 drink minimum. From what I've heard, at places like that if you don't drink you can still get soda pop/softdrinks. You can make reservations online & get a discount:

Also Laz wrote an article on his experiences with the group on the site:

http://www.livetheatregang.com/more_gang_confessions.htm

Also he said this on the site:

"Thinking back on all this now is making me tear - FORGIVE ME!"

Doesn't that just sound like Freddie? :)

Good luck with the show! :)
