Hi there! :) My name's Sean! :) I'm 24 years old, and I've got autism. Even though I wasn't born until 1991, but since my favorite television sitcoms are from the 1980's and 1990's, have you ever been in the studio audience for a taping of a television sitcom (or television sitcoms if its more than one), including Saturday Morning teen television sitcoms and/or cable television sitcoms from the 1980s' and/or the 1990's? :)

Thanks! :)
Sean

I've been to a few filmings/tapings over the years in various genres. I've been in the audience for these shows over several years:

1979: "The Johnny Cash Special" (This was taped at Nashville's Grand Ole Opry House.).

1998: "Politically Incorrect", "Roseanne" (her talk show not her sitcom), and "Suddenly Susan" (This is the only show which exactly fits your question.).

2000: "Becker".

2003: "According to Jim", "Hollywood Squares".

2005: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno", "Yes, Dear", "Twins".

2006: "Late Night with Conan O'Brien".

2012: "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon".

I moved to Los Angeles in 1989. Here are the TV show tapings I have attended through the years that I remember:

Sitcoms:
Who's the Boss?
Designing Women
Good Sports (short-lived sitcom starring Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal)
Roseanne
Mike and Molly
Game Shows:
The Price is Right
Win, Lose or Draw
Jeopardy
Wheel of Fortune
Hollywood Squares
Talk Shows:
The Pat Sajack Show
The Joan Rivers Show
The Howie Mandel Show
The Talk
Still Brady After all These Years

...And a few more forgettable pilots and short-lived sitcoms (I remember Anna Nicole Smith was a guest in one. I remember she was very nervous and required several re-takes)

Yes, I've attended three such tapings.

2001:

The Late Late Show starring Craig Kilborn. A late night show which would later be hosted by Craig Ferguson and is now helmed by James Corden.

I believe the guests that night were Vin Diesel who was promoting "The Fast & The Furious" and Andy Dick, I'm not sure what he was promoting.

2005:

Hope & Faith: The ABC sitcom starring Kelly Ripa and Faith Ford. At the time Megan Fox was a co-star on this show.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. The daytime version starring Meredith Vieira.

On a related note, I also got to do a set visit to the set of the now cancelled soap opera "Guiding Light" in 2005.

No, the only guest star I remember seeing was Martin Mull. The interesting thing about that to me was Martin Mull was a guest star on the 2 "Hollywood Squares" shows I saw in person, so I saw him in person 24 years apart.
