How I Met Your Mother is one of the most recent successes on TV in a time when it is so hard to keep even good shows on the air because of so many other options, and of course streaming services. The characters and their phrases have become a major part of pop culture, but sadly, after 9 seasons the show came to an end in 2014. Quite like Friends, the core group of characters connected with mass audiences, and by combining well known celebrities with lesser known stars, the show also created a chemistry between characters which was one of the defining qualities of the series.
