Meanwhile my idiot affiliate is dropping Antenna TV just in time for Johnny Carson. :yousuck:

And they get more affiliates, yet they continue to do the awful credit crunch. I sure won't be watching. I wish Memphis would get Buzzr or Laff.

Sorry to hear that. Glad Antenna is generally becoming more available. I personally think for a FREE channel it's just great!

Antenna TV is now on in 88% of the US but in only 0% north of the US.

That is simply unacceptable and to me it is also unforgivable.

I hear you. We get ME-TV (KVOS - Bellingham Washington) but not Antenna TV here in British Columbia.

so, Antenna TV's a success even though they crunch the credits and do the split screen huh? I don't know why, I don't watch them anymore for that reason. I was excited when ANTENNA TV, ME TV, COZI TV and DECADES rose to take over where Nick at Nite and TV Land left off, but no more-DECADES and COZI TV show everything (even the commercials!!!) with those black bars on either side and Antenna TV crunches the credits and does that split-screen. Thank god ME-TV and BUZZR don't do that.

I still watch Decades sometimes when they have good marathons on the weekends although they really don't have that many good programs during the week. I somehow live with the black bars because at least they don't crunch the credits. But it really angers me that Antenna TV does because they have the best programming layout and most of the shows I like are on there. But I've had to stop watching because of that. And I'm honestly not all that interested in Carson anyway. I may watch once or twice to see what it's like but I doubt it's something I would watch regularly. I sometimes watch MeTV, although I don't like how in some of their shows the captions are behind what is being spoken and scrolling up like I'm watching live news or sports but at least they don't crunch credits.

It also kills me that Antenna TV clearly stated that they wouldn't crunch the credits when they first started. But what do they do? They go back on their word anyways, and they refuse to take the hint.

Lesson learned: Never, ever, EVER make promises you can't keep.

Well, I'm an UNABASHED Antenna fan. For a FREE ( repeat F-R-E-E) channel, they are magnificent. Is Antenna 100.0000% perfect? Of course not. Anything minor (to me anyways) Antenna is missing I can find on the Internet.

Have you let Antenna know about this? I know when I've emailed them about a concern, they got right back to me. Maybe they're prevented from going into Canada-ask them WHY they haven't crossed the border. I'd be curious myself.

But, anyways, I hope one day you do have access to this great channel. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Except for the Mr. Belvedere Pilot ending theme. NOBODY has uploaded it.

I can respect that this is important to you, but for me it's not a deal breaker. What I dislike missing is not knowing who a particular guest actor is on an ep because a complete credit listing/ closing is missing, and that I can always find on the Internet. Sometimes this requires a little digging, but that's not a big deal to me. If I were paying to get this channel, this imperfection, and others, might annoy me; but for a freebie channel it's just not a big deal FOR ME.

It's a big deal to me because I really like to hear the closing music. Not having the music just ruins it.

Unfortunately my cable refuses to acknowledge the station that picked this up. Looks like I'm buying a nicer indoor antenna for the expansion into my region.
