According to Page Six, the actress suffered a pulmonary infection and has been convinced it was caused by her fake full-body tattoos. As a result, four makeup artists and a hairdresser have been fired. Producers have responded by using more shots of her body doubles.

SHE REPORTEDLY THINKS HER FAUX TATTOOS ARE TOXIC

Alexander endures up to seven (!) hours in a makeup chair a day for filming Blindspot, having her character’s fake tattoos added to her body. That has to be uncomfortable and would make anyone a bit cranky, and understandably so. The actress noted to the New York Times and to Zap2It that she and her artists bond during this period, putting on music, fueling up with coffee, chatting away, and getting it done. Since she is naked, she doesn’t hold back anything during the process. Then, Page Six reported that the actress thinks the ink used to create her faux tattoos is toxic and is therefore poisoning her. Really? To be fair, she did have a pulmonary infection during filming and a source claimed she believed her sickness was connected to the ink.
