ABC Cancels "Wicked City" after Only 3 Episodes
by Megan Vick
Nov 13, 2015

It seems "Wicked City" is coming to an end. Beginning Nov. 17, ABC will start airing "Shark Tank" repeats during the murder drama's timeslot on Tuesday nights.

Production on the Ed Westwick and Erika Christensen thriller will cease after Episode 8, which is currently shooting, the network announced on Friday.

While ABC did not officially used the word "cancelled," its plug is as good as pulled, making "Wicked City" the first show of the 2015-16 TV season to be canceled.

Just curious, were the ratings really low? The show was kind of interesting but it probably didn't appeal to a large enough audience.

Too bad, I kind of liked it because it took place in the 1980's but I think it would have been best if it were a limited 6-8 episode series, it didn't have enough momentum to last a full TV season.

I liked it too.

So they are already going to stop showing it even though they have shot more episodes?

I heard on the radio that the second episode had 1.5 million viewers. I have no idea where that number is in terms of being good or bad, but apparently it's bad.
