I received a google alert on Wendy Camp today. Leon Camp and his side of the family are trying to raise funeral related expenses for Wendy, Lisa, and Cynthia.

I know this case was exceptionally infuriating and heartbreaking to many UM fans like myself, so I thought some of you may like to donate as well.

At the time of the article, there was only one $50 donation in 2 months.

I just can't think of anyone more deserving of our support than Leon Camp, who lost his young bride, sister, and step-daughter to unspeakable evil... then endured 22 years without any answers or justice.

Of course :) When I donated I received a very nice letter from the family immediately... They seemed shocked that anyone still cared. They even invited me to the funeral.

They also asked I'd share the fundraiser with others. I didn't tell them I had already posted it on this forum, as most people don't donate to these types of things, so I didn't want to get their hopes up. I really did try though. The only reason I made an account here was to try to rally support for this cause.

Even if people don't want to donate, I think leaving a kind comment on their page showing support would mean a lot to them. They definitely don't realize how many strangers out there really do care about this tragedy, and that is a tragedy in itself...
