View Full Version : Dean Martin
Dude111 11-10-2015, 03:37 AM Wow...... I just found the song 'THATS AMORE' on record and I thought I wouldnt ever find it!!
That song is basically AWOL on any analogue media and its confusing,THATS ONE OF HIS BEST SONGS!!
Its on his FIRST ALBUM which I havent ever found anywhere and its also on the record I just got (THE BEST OF DEAN MARTIN (1966 (Which is thankfully MONO))) but thats it!!!!
I have found that song ON A CASSETTE but I dont know how "Analogue" it was..... (Cassette was made in the 90s I think)
Its GOOD to finally hear the PURE version of this song!!!! (As well as the other songs on this record)
Anyone else like Mr. Martin??

That's easy to understand. He was a very talented and cool dude. He could do it all: act, sing, dance, comedy. He was also a (surprisingly) mellow guy off stage-the complete opposite of his TV personna of womanizer and boozer.
MrCleveland 11-15-2015, 01:22 PM I have a couple of good Dean Martin songs...

Martin was a laid-back guy...too bad Jerry Lewis almost tarnished his fame!

HarryWild 12-02-2015, 03:40 AM Many of the 40s and 50s recordings are getting re-mastered in digital format from the original studio tracks to bring them into the modern age in terms of sound quality! It all done with special computers that add density to the analog based recordings! Sound just like a state of the art song! You can tell the difference if you listen through A good pair of Beat headphone or high quality audio system! The bass is so deep!
You can find some of them on iTune Store!

If I could, I'd buy a shirt that says "DIGITAL IS OVERRATED", in big letters.

Here's what they say"
From the time you hear these wonderful lyrics to the intro of That's Amore you will be swept away by an amazing voice. For many people who like Dean Martin that's the first thing that comes to mind when they discover him. And it's true what they say about Dean Martin and his incredible music that no other artist had the talent and skill to shine bright like he did. And with songs like That's Amore and Sway Dean really had a lot of talent and it showed. Even with new singers like Al Martino and Vic Damone Dean Martin never let anything stop him from getting the fame he loved but I think working with Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. helped him a lot. And he also tried his hand at singing country which didn't go so well but Dean Martin still managed to become a superstar and his legacy will always be remembered as a shining star to all. My mom used to have a Dean Martin cassette and she was amazed at the great songs he sung
