The last time a season of Family Guy finished with a better average rating than the one before it was in 2008-09. Since then, the numbers have shrunk, from 7.73 million for season eight to 5.86 million in season 13. This isn’t out of the ordinary — ratings for aging shows are always going to dwindle, and it’s still one of the most-watched broadcast series in the key 18-49 demo. Plus, it faces stiff competition from The Walking Dead and Sunday Night Football, which people are far more likely to watch live than Family Guy.

All that being said, this still must be a little alarming for Fox.

Family Guy fell to a series low Sunday, managing only a 1.1 rating in adults 18-49. (Via (http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2015/11/09/tv-ratings-sunday-nov-8-2015/))

That’s lower than The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, Madam Secretary, and Once Upon a Time, and even The Good Wife. Numbers will almost certainly increase once Live+7 Ratings are in, and Family Guy remains a monster in syndication, but the dream of a MacFarlane-free Sunday might finally…

Oh wait, Bordertown (finally) premieres in January (http://uproxx.com/tv/2013/11/yet-another-seth-macfarlane-cartoon-coming-fox/). Never mind.

This season of FG really isn't going strong.

Family Guy should do an homage to The Back To The Future trilogy as they did with Star Wars.

That's what I was thinking as well...

I also have other film ideas for FG.

"The Dogfellas"-A spoof on "Goodfellas" where Brian is Henry Hill (except in the Billy Batts scene, Batts is Quagmire and Brian acts like Tommy DeVito). Vince is Tommy DeVito (I can see him quote the "Funny How" scene). The Other Brian is Jimmy Conway. I dunno if Peter should play Paulie, but Lois should play Karen.

"The Wizard of OZ"-Lois plays Dorothy, Brian is Toto, Peter is the Scarecrow, Meg is the Tin Woman, Chris is the Cowardly Lion, and Stewie is the Wicked Witch of the West. Once the witch dies, all the guards are actually black people dancing in their underwear, like "The Wiz".

"It's A Pitiful Life...But I'll Take It"-A spoof on "It's a Wonderful Life" where Brian Griffin plays George Bailey, Jasper plays Henry Bailey, Peter plays Bill Bailey, Mr. Pewterschmidt plays Henry Potter, and Stewie is Stu Stu. It shows the life of George and I dunno who'd be Brian's guardian angel, but all along the way he STILL won't believe!

No offense but I'm tired of Lois being the lead. She sucks and is boring. Meg should be Dorthy. She could add her persona "prison Meg" and make it more exciting. Lois fits the Wicked Witch better and Stewie could be the Wizard. I'm also sick of Stewie crossdressing.
