I have been trying to figure out the name of a Britcom I used to watch on PBS and I cannot recall the name, I am hoping with the info I give you you can identify it.
I am not sure but I think it was from the 80s or 90s, it was about a Scientific research team and they were in the outback of Australia. To best of my memory the theme song for the show was something like Spirit In the Sky or another song from the 60s. Thank you in advance if you are able to end my long struggling endeavor :D :D :D

That could be it, I thought I would recognize the title but honestly I don't, reading the description it does really sound like it, but the production values were much lower than I would expect in the 2000s .
I do believe it is the show though, do you know the theme or anywhere to watch it ? I looked on Youtube to no avail .
