Do you have a favorite or do you like all the characters pretty much equally?

It has to be Hoss!

I liked all of the Cartwrights but esp. Little Joe

Hoss is a great character; kind, loving, a gentle giant. There's a vulnerability there as well. When I was first reading old articles about the show I was kind of surprised to find out that he is a lot of people's favorite but now I can definitely see why that would be so.

Ben is an amazing character, such a great father. Accepting, understanding, compassionate. I can't think of a better TV father.

It's a tough choice between the two of them, if I had to pick a favorite this instant.

Little Joe is the cute, young, impetuous one. He's the one I most noticed when I was a kid. As a kid I would have picked him as my favorite.

Adam always seemed too serious and sometimes arrogant. As a kid I would have picked him as my least favorite. I like the character now - but he's probably still my least favorite.

I think that Hop Sing was a great part of the family, he was funny, and you could see that he loved the family, even though he complained a lot.

I don't really remember Candy or Jamie, but they are included in this poll because they were regulars on the series - and perhaps they are someone's favorite.
