(The KC Royals won the World Series, 4 games to 1, by beating the NY Mets 7-2.)

(Ed meets Ralph for lunch at the Bus Depot locker room. Ed blows his nose.)

Ed: "What a bloutz Ralph. The Mets lost at the last minute."

Ralph: "All due to a blown save. The Mets could have gone to Kansas City to beat the Royals."

(Joe Fenstablau comes in.)

Joe: "Hey Ralph & Ed. I assume that you two must be sad that the Mets blew it. Hahahaha."

Ralph: "yes, we are Joe."

Joe: "The Mets long layoff hurt them. But, I think if the Mets' series with the Cubs gone to seven games, they still would have lost."

Ralph: "Just wait until next year. The Mets will be going to the postseason along with the Yankees. Next year will be the 30th anniversary since they lost won the World Series by beating those Boston Red Sox. Hahaha."

Ed: "I was looking forward to going to Kansas City and taking a dip in that fountain. I would have been at home."

(Ralph rolls his eyes.)

Ralph: "You, Harvey from the poolroom and Garrity are all alike. You dislike all New York sports teams. I guarantee you that next year the city of New York will rule baseball and meet the Miami Marlins at least once and if there is a slight chance that I am wrong which I am never wrong..."

(Ed is startled.)

Ralph (noticing Ed, yells): "...DON'T YOU DARE SAY IT..." (normally): "...then I think that the Marlins will win it in Miami Beach."

(Crowd cheers.)

(They all sing a song about NY baseball.)

(Jackie walks on stage. Crowd cheers.)

Jackie: "Thank you. Ladies and gentlemen, the Miami Beach crowds are the BEST! GOOD NIGHT!"

(Crowd cheers.)
