My favorite Sitcom of the 90's is Home Improvement.

Another sitcom that I love yet not listed is Family Matters.

I went with None of the above! A cute show that wasn't listed that I liked was Sabrina the teenage witch! What could be better than having a cool talking cat??

I was going to pick Roseanne, I really didn't like it after about 1994 though! Wasn't a big fan of the later seasons!

My four favorite shows all aired episodes in the 90s.

1. Friends
2. Roseanne
3. The Nanny
4. The Golden Girls

Frasier..has stood the test of time much better than Seinfeld, which I would have chosen a decade ago.

I swear NewsRadio is so underrated, it's like it aired on another planet.

I agree and I don't know why, either. It was such a funny show with a great ensemble cast. At least each season sold well enough to get all five out on DVD but I'm surprised it's not a bigger hit in reruns on television.

I had it narrowed down to 4, and to make it easier to choose I went with the sitcom that only had its original run in the 90s: Father Ted.

Second choice - Frasier
Third Choice - Caroline in the City

I never liked Newsradio. I don't why, but I don't like it. Probably Andy Dick is an idiot.

Out of all those 90s shows, Roseanne was the only show I watched faithfully every week. I even attended a taping of the show, and our paths crossed again when I ran into Roseanne at an antique mall in the Farmer's Market, so she gets my vote.

I know a few people who hate Andy Dick in everything else but like him on "NewsRadio." In fact, just yesterday I speculated with a friend (and fellow NewsRadio lover) that maybe one of the reasons the show isn't more popular is because of Andy Dick being in the show.

I think Andy is a troubled human being but played a very funny character on this show.

Boy Meets World, for me, was one of these shows that I couldn't stand at all. I speculated a couple times before why I didn't like it, and I came to the conclusion that is was it produced by ABC in association with the Disney Channel. Growing up, I always hated the Disney Channel, and preferred Nickelodeon more. So that's why I never cared for Boy Meets World

My favorite show of the 1990's was Boy Meets World.

"Boy Meets World" is one of my all-time favorite sitcoms. I watched it in its original run all the way through and now proudly own all the seasons on DVD.

I loved how Eric went from being a pretty normal teenager to a complete wacko in the later seasons, lol. It's such a contrast when you watch an early episode followed by a later one.

My sister had a big crush on Rider Strong.

One of the things I liked about Eric is that he went through some heart wrenching stuff in the last couple seasons but he mostly dealt with it with humor, as opposed to Shawn, who would fly off the handle and scream at people, lol.

I had a crush on Topanga but I can't say it was a crush bigger than any other, so I didn't tune in just to see her each week or anything. But of course I was jealous Cory got to kiss that all the time, ha-ha.

I thought Rider(Shawn) was hot, but I tuned in because the show was great. Because of Boy Meets World is why I tuned into Girl Meets World on the Disney Channel. I also enjoy that show as well.

I also watch "Girl Meets World." I think it's a cute little show and I like all the actors (Sabrina has quite the career in front of her) but there's just something that's keeping me from loving it. I don't even know what it is. I watch all the new episodes and I look forward to guest appearances by former cast members and I even like the episodes with just the GMW regulars. I don't know exactly what my issue is with this show. But I still like it. It's just not love (yet).

I never knew this show was popular enough to get a reunion movie much less a new series. I'm glad it is though. Most of my top favorite shows are not very popular in this day and age (some weren't popular when they were new either).

And most of us can see why Newradio And Boy Meets World weren't very popular. Newradio had Andy Dick, whom a lot of people hated. And Boy Meets World was overshadowed by shows like Full House, Family Matters, Step By Step
, which were all better than Boy Meets World, but to each his own

Yes a lot of people hate Andy Dick. I wouldn't want to meet him or anything but he was hilarious on "NewsRadio." It was a show the critics loved and it did well in the ratings for the first two seasons. It was the third when they moved its time slot that it was crushed. Luckily, it lasted another two seasons anyways. Surviving the tragic murder of Phil Hartman, who was then replaced by Jon Lovitz.

Although I don't think a lot of the Andy Dick hate came until after the show ended in '99. That's when he started doing (or when we found out about) all the horrible things he's gotten in trouble for.

It seems like a shame to judge a show based on ONE actor though. Especially a show that has eight cast members, all of whom did a wonderful job. "NewsRadio" was an ensemble show and one I'm proud to call my favorite.

I liked all the TGIF shows (until Sabrina). I liked all the ones you mentioned (least of all Full House, which I outgrew as I got older). But to me the best TGIF show was "Boy Meets World."

What does WKRP have to do with anything? Just because they're two sitcoms set in a radio station doesn't mean they're alike.

It's like comparing "Saved by the Bell" and "Community" because they're both set in schools. Even though both shows are wildly different.

But since you brought it up, I never liked WKRP. Back when E! used to rerun One Day at a Time, Alice and WKRP, I watched it but wasn't impressed. Then in '99 when Nick at Nite broadcast it, I gave it another chance but just couldn't get into it. It's one of the few sitcoms of the '70s that I have zero intention of buying on DVD.

For me, too! That list also includes Diff'rent Strokes and The Facts of Life. In fact, I had originally entertained every possibility of WKRP, and then when I purchased the second-season (1979-80) individual release, I thought better of it and decided that WKRP was not for me, based on what I saw of it.
