A new American Journal of Preventive Medicine study found links between prolonged TV-watching—three to four hours a day—and the most major causes of death, including cancer, heart disease, diabetes, influenza/pneumonia, Parkinson’s disease and liver disease.

And how did they reach the theory that three to four hours is fatal it should anything past four hours a day.

I think they confused the cause-and-effect order; most people dieing of those diseases wind up lying in a bed watching TV until they go.

Exactly. Watching too much TV could lead to a sedentary lifestyle-which, in turn, ups the probability of many conditions.

Well if this is the case, most of us have nothing to worry about and will live to be 100 because there is nothing but crap on TV these days.
