(Ralph is in the kitchen sitting down at the table.)

Alice: "Ralph, the Mets still have a chance."

Ralph: "You are right Alice. But the Mets are DOWN two games. I was hoping that they would win the World Series at Citi Field. Now, it ain't going to happen. They have to win at Kansas City."

Alice: "Well, sometimes we can't get what we want."

Ralph: "You are right Alice. The Royals will have to go into the offseason without a World Series title."

Alice: "Oh Ralph."

(Ed comes down.)

Ed: "What a bloutz. The Mets lost by six runs. Looks like that long layoff hurt them."

Ralph: "Don't say that. The Royals just got lucky. I promise you that the Mets WILL win the World Series."

Garrity (from upstairs, yells): "HEY RALPH, GET READY TO EAT CROW. THE METS WILL LOSE. GET READY TO EAT CROW LIKE YOU EAT EVERYTHING ELSE."

(Ralph goes to the window and sticks his head out with his face facing up.)

Ralph (yells): "GARRITY, YOU BETTER EAT..."

(Ralph gets a huge blueberry pie to the face. Garritty, Ed and Alice laugh.)

Ralph (yells): "NORTON, GET OUT! GEEEEEEEEEEEET OUT!"

(Ed leaves.)

Ralph (yells): "ALICE AND GARRITY, ONE OF THESE DAYS...ONE OF THESE DAYS...POW IN THE KISSER."

(Jackie walks on stage. Crowd cheers as he is trying to get cleaned up.)

Jackie: "Thank you. As you can tell, I love eating blueberry pie."

(Crowd laughs.)

Jackie: "How sweet it is."

(Crowd cheers.)

Jackie: "The Miami Beach crowds are the BEST! GOOD NIGHT!"
