I was thumbing through the TV yesterday and I saw Lisa Welchel on Jame's Robinson's ministry talk show. She was talking about her new book that is now released. She was saying that preaching the gospel was her 1st love, but nobody listened to her until she got her role in "The Facts of Life." She told America that The Facts of Life was used as her platform to witness for Jesus, (who will return when Israel is at it's most perilous moment). Everyone knows that Lisa is a born-again Christain, even when she was doing the series and has done a lot of good with that. She has also mentioned that Hollywood thinks of Christianity as 2nd to Notzism, as her publisher told her to change God to Universe and she refused. It was a very impressive interview.

Am I the only one who can hear bits and peices of the interview? When it loads, I can hear like 3 seconds of talking then it stops for a minute and then talks again for like 3 seconds. Is it just me, or did someone else have problems w/ hearing that?

Lisa's book is a brand new one based on her life and accomplishments.

HOLD ON A MINUTE. Why would Lisa's publisher, either Thomas Nelson or Multnomah, BOTH big Christian publishers, want her to
substitute the word "God" with "the Universe"??? I think she meant some other person or publisher of a secular publication.

Great interview BTW! LOL. I dunno why they would want her to substitute God with the universe. Interesting.

I believe Lisa said it was a prominent Hollywood publicist, not publisher.

Lisa is correct, people in Hollywood are wrong. Christianity should NOT be equated with Nazism.

I saw the interview. A friend of mine taped it for me and told me. I didn't even know. I thought it was great of him to do that for me. Anyway, it was a sensational interview. I just finished wathing it this past Sunday.
