Here is an excerpt from an interview with seventies era movie star, Pam Grier. It was published this past week in a Los Angeles newspaper......

Greer does, however, have every intention of seeing that the Showtime-produced biopic about the first 10 years of her career goes before the camera this year. "We've gone to script on it and it's gonna be the bomb." exclaims Grier. No actress has been cast to play Grier, though the 52 year old beauty is considering playing herself for a portion of the film. "There are a lot of great roles to cast. Richard Pryor and Freddie Prinze are in the script, so you can just imagine what the story is like.

That's great. I wonder who they will get to play Freddie? It will be hard to find someone I'm sure. Freddie was (and is) one of a kind!

I gotta see this movie! :) Whoever plays Freddie, it won't be the same as him tho. I wish he were alive so he could play himself... I miss him...

That is great she remembered Freddie, I wonder if a unknown actor will play Freddie? I hope they find someone who looks a little like him.

I dunno if they'll go with Ira as he might be too old since is is my age (40/41). In a way it would be fun to see but in a way I am too used to Freddie & Jack & Co playing the roles on the show...

I agree with JennyLee. They had better depict him in a positive light or else they will have us to deal with!!!!!!

You can bet that they will highlight the excesses of the 70's in that portion of the show, including drugs!

I wonder if the role of Freddie will be big, or just a blip?
Was Freddie ever a big part of Pam's life? (I've never really known).

Whatever his role is, I hope they don't drag him through the mud!

I read where they mainly dated for publicity purposes at Awards shows & stuff & that they really didn't hit it off so good...
