What Character On Cheers Makes You Laugh The Most??

for me its carla and lilith.. carlas such an evil little person and shes very funny to me.. and then we have lilith, whos personality makes me laugh..,

Lilith:"then we freeze the underwear in the icebox for an hour.."

Carla: "Or we could just let you wear it for 10 minutes.."

but it is tough considering i get a laugh from everyone at the bar.. and sometimes norms 1 liners get me, and i also laugh at cliff because hes such a looser..

"so tell me... cliff, what color is the sky in your world?"

Probably a 3-way tie between Norm, Carla, and Woody.

Obviously, Lilith for me. She just opens her mouth and something hysterical will come out. She doesn't even have to open her mouth... she's just ridiculously funny.

Other than Lilith, I'd have to say Frasier and Diane. The intelligent, witty remarks are what get me. I find humor in their mocking others when the person on the receiving end doesn't get it 99% of the time. I have to agree that most of the characters make me laugh, it's just those three that really put a smile on my face with their ingenious innuendoes.

Sam, Carla, Cliif & Norm always seem 2 make me laugh the most. Since Diane, Frasier, & Lilith use
2 many big words that I don't know. Sam's my fave, because he's so cute!!! :) I luv Cheers! What
else is there on TV these days that's funny. (Cheers, Frasier, Becker, Friends are my shows these
days) I'm sick of the news. I need my Cheers people! (especially Sam!) Ted Danson always makes
me laugh. Is that his real hair? (I heard it's a toupee-I like his hair!) :)

Okay... I must admit to having looked up several words uttered from the mouths of Lilith, Frasier, and Diane on occasion. For the most part, however, I usually understand what they're saying... or can at least make an educated guess. They're inspirational to me. I want to be an intellectual snob -- it's one of my main goals in life. People tell me I'm well on my way. We'll see...

hey i agree with ya Dr Sternien, being and intellectual snob is sometimes cool, well i don,t know about the snob part, but by some people i am concidered one two,but i also agree that frasier and lilith and dianes snoby intellecual and somewhat shall we say preppy personalliys make them stand out as one of their strenghs,it really adds to them as characters somehow definitlly as well as standing out in the show as well, their neroutic and somewhat self centered yet very caring and very very very likeable personallitys really really really make them indivaual and unmondane characters LOL for the funniest characters i would have to say well they are all very funny,i would have to say norm, coach, sam at first, diane and even though i can,t say i,m a big fun cliff he is sometimes as funny as hell, and lilith and fraiser i thought were the funniest characters on the show cheers in the later years as in the eariler years of their relationship as well but mostlly their later years they were hillorious, but i would have to say lilith is slighty more comical than frasier i think, but i am going to vote for COACH,NORM AND DIANE AS THE FUNNIEST CHARACTERS,AND LILITH AND FRASIER IN THE LATER EXECEPT NORM AND COACH ALWAYS MADE ME LAUGH MY HEAD OFF,well i guess i am finsished here sorry,LOL CHEERS!

Okay, I realize that after I say what I'm about to, I'm going to be perceived as a complete bitch; but, I honestly don't mean any harm in this post. I was just wondering if you could possibly try to use some grammar/punctuation in future posts. I can't speak for anyone else, but I have a very hard time reading what you write, grouping all your thoughts together into one big run-on sentence. You seem to have some great insight and I'd love to discuss/debate topics with you, but most of the time I can't understand half of what you're saying! Sorry! :(

Norm makes me laugh the most. He has the best one-liners and delivers them with such a straight face.
Sam runs second. Although he played the straight man most of the time, he said some really funny things. Geez, was that man cute!

 Wow, I definately latched onto this post rather late. Thanks to SammyandDiane for trying to change the grammar, and thanks to B for having the guts to bring it up. Anyway, going back to the original topic....I feel that the two doctors make me laugh the most. I think that Frasier is absolutely hilarious. My favorite funny scenes are always including him. For those of you that saw the 200th anniversery special, who didn't laugh their pants off when they did the segment on Fraiser. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. Kelsey is definately a great comedian, although he isn't commonly thought to be a comedian. Bebe is also hilarious and I am sorry that she wasn't in more eps. They are definately two of my favorite characters. They are magic.

This isn't English class. Not everyone is a good writer and can be grammatically correct.
However, if you insist on asking someone to learn how to write better to suit you, perhaps it would have been more sensitive if you sent SammyandDiane a Private Message or e:mail as opposed to a public reprimand.
I have no problems reading the posts. I think they're fun. Just what this board needs, the grammar police. :(

If I could be the devil's advocate, I don't think that what B said was meant to be a degrading remark towards Sammyanddiane. I think that we all know each other well enough to be honest with each other. I think that B stated it in a polite manner, and in no way making a display out of Sammyanddiane. I know that I enjoy reading Sammy's post, and she puts in many good comments. Sometimes it is difficult to read, and SammyandDiane shrugged it off and said that she would try to make it more legible. I don't think that it was meant to start a major fight. Just take things for what they are....not everything is said with an attack in mind. Thanks.

I didn't say the remark was made in a degrading manner, and I certainly don't want to start a major fight. I minored in English in college, and I possess a good command of the English language, both in writing and verbally; however, I wouldn't correct someone else's grammar, particulary on a message board.
I stand by my opinion that the suggestion should have been made in private.
I'm honestly not trying to start a fight.
Just my humble opinion.<< (incomplete sentence)

Diane, Carla and Lilith. They all have something funny to contribute.
-----------------------------------

Lilith: (Talking to the exterminator) I'll give you 3 dollars for each of those rats.

Exterminator #1: What are going to use them for?

Carla: SNACKS!
----------------------------------

The Debate

Diane: Carla, you may have the floor...... and we all know that it wouldn't be the first time.
