"Instant Mom" To End Run after 3 Seasons as Nick at Nite Pauses Original Series

The current third season of Nickelodeon sitcom "Instant Mom" will be its last. The network has informed the cast and the crew of the family comedy starring Tia Mowry-Hardrict that the show won’t be renewed for a fourth season.

Three seasons has been the longest a Nick at Nite original series has run, matched by the block’s first original comedy, "See Dad Run", though "Instant Mom" produced more episodes, 65, to "See Dad Run‘s" 50.



With "Instant Mom" going away and no originals in the immediate pipeline, Nick at Nite is putting its original scripted programming efforts on pause. It is unclear whether that move will be permanent as there had been projects in various stages of development.

The series finale is slated for December.

Can't say I'm surprised with this. The move to TVLand and burning 2 episodes every Saturdays is the way of saying this show is done for good.
Nick@Nite is a mess, and doesn't have any original programming.

There were some flaws in the statement in deadline press. Everybody Loves Raymond isn't currently airing on Nick at Nite started this late August as press says it's currently airing repeats. Next, the press says it's airing encores of TVLand originals of Impastor and Jim Gafigan Show. Wrong! Last July until last month, Nick@Nite were only simulcasting airing new episodes every Wednesdays 10PM hour only.

Also the press didn't mention when See Dad Run remaining 7 episodes will air as it was already cancelled last year.

Last 2 episodes of Instant Mom will air Sat Dec 19.

All Instant Mom episodes showing on TVLand online has been removed, and as of this month, it's not even showing reruns on any Viacom networks at all. Now still waiting for when is See Dad Run will air remaining episodes..!

What a mess Nick at Nite is.
