Amy Sherman-Palladino has struck a deal to create four 90-minute episodes/mini-movies that will allow her to conclude (http://www.buzzfeed.com/samimain/gilmore-girls-revival) the WB/CW series the way she always wanted. Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop and Scott Patterson are among the major cast members who are expected to return. Sherman-Palladino left Gilmore Girls, which celebrated its 15th anniversary earlier this month, before its final season, resulting in a conclusion to the series that she didn't agree with.

Creator Amy Sherman-Palladino's sensibility will be back in full force. As Sharan Shetty notes, "there are zero reasons to think she’ll do anything but knock it out of the park. In other words, the 360 new minutes of Gilmore Girls will likely be just as good as anything in its first six seasons. Fans should rest easy and begin plotting their next scheme: Getting Netflix to bring back Bunheads.” PLUS: What if the revival ruins Gilmore Girls’ legacy (http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/10/19/netflix-revives-gilmore-girls-we-are-thrilled-and-terrified.html)?, the Netflix revival will time jump to the present d (http://tvline.com/2015/10/19/gilmore-girls-netflix-time-jump-revival-spoilers/)ay, and Lauren Graham won’t confirm or deny (https://twitter.com/thelaurengraham/status/656250368867700736)the news.

I like Gilmore Girls but this won't do me any good since I don't have Netflix.

"Netflix is not bringing Gilmore Girls back, even if it brings back something called Gilmore Girls,” says James Poniewozik. He adds: "A new Gilmore Girls may be witty, heartfelt and great. I hope so. But it will be a different thing, no matter how much of the original talent returns, because there’s one thing even the best-funded, best-intentioned reboot can’t restore: lost time.” PLUS: Can Gilmore Girls adapt to a changed pop-culture world (http://www.newsday.com/entertainment/tv/gilmore-girls-netflix-reboot-is-it-too-soon-1.10986432)?, it should be noted that Gilmore Girls had problems (http://www.hitfix.com/whats-alan-watching/where-netflix-leads-with-a-gilmore-girls-revival-will-you-follow) under Amy Sherman-Palladino, here’s what should happen (http://www.vulture.com/2015/10/gilmore-girls-revival-what-should-happen.html) in the revival, here are six things that shouldn’t happen (http://www.usmagazine.com/entertainment/news/gilmore-girls-reboot-9-things-want-6-things-dont-want-20152010), and former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright hopes (https://twitter.com/madeleine/status/656273315070238721) the revival reports are true.
